One installer for the trial and the licensed version. A licence bought later applies in place, without a reinstall.
An account is needed
Downloads open to accounts with a confirmed email address. The account also holds your orders and licences.
Windows
Windows 11 or Windows 10 22H2, 64-bit. Run the installer as an administrator.
Ubuntu
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, 64-bit. Install with sudo apt install ./<file>.deb
Open-source components
Source code for the bundled FFmpeg and x264, as their GPL licences require. Not needed to install.
After installing
- The setup wizard creates the first administrator account. There is no default password.
- Choose the footage folder, on its own drive. Footage is encrypted from the first clip.
- Add cameras by discovery or by address, then draw zones and set a schedule.
- Before the trial ends, open Configure > Licence, copy the machine ID and buy a licence.
Check the machine against the PC requirements. Release history: update log.
