3.0.0
October 2026 · First public release
Security
- Every recorded clip is sealed with HMAC-SHA256 as well as encrypted with AES-256. A clip altered on disk is refused at playback and export.
- Camera addresses are checked before they reach the recording engine. A device on the network can no longer inject recording options through a discovery reply.
- The web interface limits connections per address, times out slow clients and caps simultaneous playback and export.
- Changing a password ends every session for that user. Sign-out from the web interface ends the session on the server.
- Passwords are stored with PBKDF2 at 600,000 rounds. Older hashes are upgraded at the next sign-in.
- The web interface cannot be framed by another site, and sends a strict content security policy.
- Settings are written to a temporary file and moved into place, so a power cut cannot leave half a file.
- Backup restore accepts only the settings file and floor plans.
Alarms and schedules
- Weekly schedules with special days. New Zealand public holidays are worked out for each year.
- One schedule can cover several areas. Assign and unassign schedules from the Areas screen.
- The system clock is checked against the internet, so schedules run at the correct time.
- Camera areas, with motion zones shown as dots on their camera.
Console
- Monitor rebuilt: one switch per section, aligned edge bars, and a layout kept between sessions.
- Free-resize video wall with corner handles.
- Multi-lane playback timeline across several cameras.
- A filter box on every event list. Right-click Delete on every list.
- A Help switch shows or hides the description under each setting.
Cameras and floor plan
- Fisheye dewarping for 360-degree cameras.
- Wider camera discovery: every network adapter, XMEye devices and more makes.
- Floor plans from PDF and more image formats. Devices are placed automatically and kept inside their area.
Licensing
- Licences can be pasted as text as well as installed from a file.
- 14-day trial with every feature.
