Introducing JDX Stronghold 3.0

JDX Stronghold is now available to download. It records the IP cameras a site already has, of any make, and runs intruder alarm logic on top of them. It runs on one PC at the premises, on Windows or Ubuntu.

Why it exists

Most recorders tie a site to one camera brand, charge per camera, or send footage to someone else's cloud. JDX Stronghold does none of these. Footage is encrypted on the machine that records it and leaves only as an export. One licence covers the server, whatever the number of cameras its hardware can run.

What is in 3.0

  • Continuous or motion recording, with no re-encoding of the camera stream.
  • Areas with arm and disarm, entry and exit countdowns, and schedules that know New Zealand public holidays.
  • Person, vehicle and animal detection on the processor, with no graphics card.
  • A web interface for phones, limited by design to operating the site: no configuration and no deletion over the network.
  • Every clip sealed against alteration, and every action logged with who made it.

The full list is in the update log.

Try it

Every download starts a 14-day trial with every feature. Create an account to download, and check the machine against the PC requirements first.

Next

Work continues on licence plate recognition, integration with commercial alarm panels, and secure remote access. Each will be announced here when it ships.
